Setting-up a New Organisation

We can assist with the establishment of new charities, voluntary organisations, and social enterprises, such as Community Interest Companies (CICs). 

We provide tailored advice on whether charitable status is appropriate for your intentions and help you consider the most suitable legal structure to adopt.

We are experienced in setting-up Community Bodies which meet the eligibility requirements for a Community Right to Buy application under Scottish Land Reform legislation, and setting-up Community Transfer Bodies suitable for a Community Asset Transfer application under the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.
